This Privacy Policy is intended to clarify the principles of processing personal data at our law firm. It is also the fulfillment of the information obligation arising from Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (UE) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Regulation on the Protection of personal data) (Official Journal of the EU L119 from 4 May 2016, p. 1) (hereinafter “GDPR”).

Your personal data will be processed by legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec – Koślacz and legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz exclusively in connection with the performance of the agreement on the provision of legal services concluded with the legal advisor by the Client (pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), as well as on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interests, in particular for the purposes of marketing its own services (on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, whenever a test of balancing interests is conducted) and for accounting purposes (on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
The information constituting your personal data is used by legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec-Koślacz and legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz in connection with existing statutory requirements. This means that you have an obligation to provide personal data necessary for the proper (lawful) performance of activities by legal advisors. Refusal to provide this information to legal advisors prevents you from dealing with your case.

Period of data processing
Your personal data will be processed throughout the validity of the agreement and after its termination or at the end of its validity – throughout the claims limitation period against legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec-Koślacz and the legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz or the Client (10 years). If data is processed on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest, the data will be processed until the moment you object, whereas data processed for accounting purposes shall be processed for the period required by the provisions of the law, namely 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the deadline for the payment of tax passes.
Recipients of the data
The expected recipients of your personal data are the employees and associates of legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec-Koślacz and legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz and the entities to which legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec-Koślacz and legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz entrusts the data processing, as well as employees and associates of these entities (in particular ICT service providers, courier companies and postal operators, entities supporting legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec-Koślacz and legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz in the provision of legal services) – to the extent necessary for the achievement of the objectives of the processing of this data.
Transfer of data
Legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec-Koślacz and legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz will transfer your personal data to public authorities (e.g. courts and tax authorities) in the scope of fulfilling legal obligations.
The personal data may be transferred to a third country only if this is necessary for the provision of legal services by legal advisor Klaudyna Jarzec-Koślacz and legal advisor Emilia Miśkiewicz, whereby the controller makes the assurance that, if the data is transferred to a third country, this will take place in such a way that the appropriate method of its protection is assured.
